Local-recall (Seoul)
Cities across the world that are exploring ways to (re)develop urban manufacturing and industrial land, particularly in mixed use areas, have a surprising amount in common. This event will bring together insights from Seoul, New York and across Europe since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the excellent 2019, Urban Manufacturing Next forum which emerged from the threat of gentrification in Sewoon, one of Seoul’s most diverse and dynamic manufacturing neighbourhoods. This event, aptly called ‘Local-Recall’ looks at development in cities such as Seoul, New York and Brussels while reflecting on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
